Extreme Biology is a blog written by Ms. Baker and her high school biology students. It began in 2005 and was originally called, Miss Baker’s Biology Class Blog. After its second year, a competition was held to find a new name for the blog and Extreme Biology was chosen!
Unfortunately, if you’re looking for our older content (2005-Aug 2009) you sadly won’t find it. Ms. Baker accidentally deleted all of the content between those dates. Fortunately, she still has all of the content thanks to a Google Reader subscription. She will slowly be republishing those deleted posts over time. However, no comments have been recovered.
Why blog to learn about science? There are too many reasons to list here. But, the links below lead to interviews, videos, and summaries that can give you an idea about why we do what we do. If you’d like to hear more about the value of blogging for science education, please don’t hesitate to contact us!
